Staying an LTVA Campground

Many RVers migrate to southern RV Parks and Campgrounds during the winter months. Generally referred to as Snowbirds there is great diversity between them. While many “Snowbirds” chose to stay at high-end RV Parks, some costing well over $1000 monthly, many are willing to give up the luxury of a 50 amp full hookup RV Park and take advantage of the Campgrounds known as the Long Term Visitors Area (LTVA) managed bu the Bureau of Land Management (BLM). While there is an attraction to the $180 Southern and $300 Northern LVTM rates, and that’s for 7 months, not a week, there is also the benefit of not having to have a neighbor right on top of you.

The LTVA visitors generally have fully self contained RVs and that generally includes Solar Panels.
